Get With The Program
One of the things that sets The Silk apart from the others is The Resident Artist. It is a program that allows artists to collaborate and design the artistic features of the Silk property like the Li Laurel Sculpture Garden. The residency program will allow the artists to live and create their art on site. The artwork will be exhibited on the Silk property and have their creations available for sale. Every 6 months, the program enlists a new artist to contribute their creativity and continues to indefinitely. The idea is to keep the art trending and to bring exposure to the featured artists.
The program is a great opportunity for artists with different skills and abilities to showcase their work. Their time at Silk can propel them further in their artistic career, which is why there are qualifications in the selection process. To be considered for the residency program, the applicant must provide a portfolio and other items the committee might require.
